This series of paintings was born during trips to seaside locations, offering the chance to experiment with new artistic routines. I painted at dawn, sitting on the beach or offshore, balancing on a stand-up paddleboard. Every imperfection carries with it the force of the sea: the smudges dictated by the movement of the waves, grains of sand caught in the brushes, the silent pursuit of serenity.
